Plagiarism Prevention

Turnitin (plagiarism prevention software) - SBCC currently uses TurnItIn which is software designed to help you check students’ electronic submissions (essays or papers) in a quick and effective manner.  Teachers using Moodle can also create a TurnItIn assignment via Moodle.  Grades entered in Turnitin for the assignment will show up in the Moodle gradebook.

SBCC has a limited-seat license for teachers interested in using Turnitin. Contact Laurie Vasquez at vasquez@sbcc.edu or X2724. Laurie provides small group training during the semester for teachers interested in using Turnitin.
