Mary James, FRC staffer achieves 40 years of service milestone

Mary James, Administrative Assistant (word processing) in the FRC, was honored yesterday (July 24, 2008) at the college’s Board of Trustees meeting, after working at the college for more than 40 years. Mary first started with the college in February of 1968 as a typist clerk in the Admissions and Records office before accepting a permanent position with that department. In 1980, she moved to the then new Word Processing Center and later assumed a lead role as Principal Word Processor in that department for the next 15 years before joining the Faculty Resource Center in 1995.
