Prayer, Meditation, and Relaxation Space
The Prayer, Meditation, and Relaxation Space (PMR Space) is located on West Campus inside the Learning Resources Center (LRC) around the corner from the front entrance. The Prayer, Meditation, & Relaxation space allows individuals of all religious faiths and non-religious beliefs to experience a place for prayer, meditation and/or reflection throughout the day. There are prayer rugs, religious texts, meditation cushions and a meditation table for anybody to use. The PMR space is not intended for use by any organized programs, meetings, or other uses unrelated to its purpose. The PMR Space is available for use by students and staff when the LRC is open.

@sbcc_lrc Whether through prayer, meditation, or simple relaxation, taking time to pause may help enhance focus and neuroplasticity, foster a growth mindset, improve learning, and support mental and emotional health. We invite you to stop by and experience the space for yourself. #SantaBarbaraCityCollege #SBCC #MentalHealth #Meditation #Relaxation #Prayer #chill #santabarbara #relaxationtime #zen #chillout #breatheinbreatheout #boxbreathing ♬ Gods creation - daniel.mp3
