Other Events:
Join SBCC Study Abroad and The Well for a workshop to learn more about how the stress and anxiety of daily life can leave us feeling overwhelmed and trapped. Discover how travel can open the door to experiences that help reorient our reality back home. Rather than another form of temporary distraction, traveling beyond your familiar context can help build a healthier relationship to yourself and surroundings. Pulling from research in positive psychology, this talk offers practical tools to cultivate empowered mindsets through travel. Attendees walk away with a better understanding of identity formation, root causes of anxiety, and a greater awareness of our power to create a happier reality in big and small ways whether at home or abroad. Where there be Dragons Director of Programming will join virtually for this great event. Enjoy Empenadas from local favorite Buena Onda if you join in person!
