AP7500 Professional Volunteers


Professional Volunteer Requirements:

  • Board Approval is required for all Professional Volunteers (See AP7500).
  • TB and LiveScan (fingerprints) are usually required depending on the volunteer assignments.
  • Volunteers transporting students or operating a college vehicle must be approved by Administrative Services (contact (805) 730-4065).
  • Reference calendar below for board approval deadlines.

Professional Volunteer Process:

  1. Prospective professional volunteer (PV) fills out form
  2. Manager approves and signs form, sends to dean
  3. Dean approves, signs PV form, uploads request to secure link. 
  4. HR will inform department when the board has cleared the volunteer assignment.
